  I initially put off going to see this because I have an almost 20-year adoration of the stage show and I was terrified it would wreck the source material. 

  Happy to say they did it justice and more, I feel like my inner Wicked-obsessed-teenage-self was being celebrated.

  And yes, I cried for the entire duration of the film. Ask my husband 🥲

  There’s still nothing quite like a live performance but this is a very very close second 💚🩷

  Part two will absolutely wreck me.

  National Theatre Live: Dear England 2024

  I never thought I would care as much about the England (mens) football team as I did when I was watching this. It made me laugh, tear up, and ponder the philosophy of team sports. Brilliantly cast and stellar performances from all. God I love theatre 💛 so grateful to be able to access NT shows even though I no longer live in London.
