I had the pleasure of seeing this at the DC Independent Film Forum, where it won Best Animated Film. Not only is the craftmanship of the puppets and sets beautiful, but the story and performances are great, too -- something I don't always see in animated films. Brava!

Killers of the Flower Moon 2023
An important story that should be told, but would have been a lot more interesting if it centered on Molly, her family and their fight for justice, with the villains as side characters. It would have been a better movie if Scorcese had collaborated with an indigenous woman screenwriter to adapt the book and tell the story from Molly’s point of view. I would like to see De Niro ad di Caprio lending their talents and star power to projects that they’re not necessarily in the center of.
