Network 1976
Network is not a perfect movie, but it is does perfectly address several deep issues in society, blurs a lot of lines, and brings to light more questions than answers.
The obvious issue is the power of the media to shape public opinion and the willingness of those in seats of power and influence to stop at nothing to further their own ambition and hold over truth and information.
However, there are other themes under the surface here…
