Technically speaking, the movie is fantastic. I really enjoyed all the performances throughout - it was just an extremely messy film. A lot of things going on and not all of it was necessarily satisfying. I respect it and am happy it exists - but I think there were too many storylines and tones and sub-genres going on for them to all stick the landing completely.

Castle in the Sky 1986
A wonderful, magical film. The characters are fun, endearing and unique. The story is exciting and the world is a marvel.
All in all, just your typical Miyazaki film. Sixth one down.
