This movie is a little better than the first one because it cranks up the action and the dialogue isn’t so bland. It should also be noted that there is less dialogue then its predecessor. I think the score is better in this one as well. I hope the third film will be a lot better and maybe the critics will cut Snyder some slack. Maybe his director cuts might help out his cause. Either way pretty good sequel.
I like being pleasantly surprised from movies that hardly anyone talks about. The only reason I heard about this movie was because of the Oscars. And Da’Vine Joy Randolph definitely earned hers. Paul Giamatti is excellent and new comer Dominic Sessa impressed me with his performance. I do like the old age cinematography as well. A good movie all around and the score goes hand in hand with every scene. A fun movie about unlikely friendships.

The phrase slow burn best describes this film. I really can’t compare this film to anything I’ve watched before mainly because I haven’t watched many films about Indigenous people. The score is what stands out most to me. The now late Robbie Robertson composed a haunting and suspenseful score. I never knew what would happen in the next frame due to his well timed notes. It was masterful. DiCaprio and De Niro shine in their respective villain rolls. I liked…
This is one of my all time favorite shoot ‘em ups. The ensemble cast is great. Their performances makes it seem like they all have working with each other for years. The story is also really compelling and the humor is great. A really good film all around.
