The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy 2005
Endlessly quotable but a lil too silly for me. I had a lot of fun but it felt too spy kids.
I thought the camera work was shite but that sent me down the rabbit hole of this film’s format.
Originally it was screening in 4:3, released to DVD at 2.39, and now on streaming it’s a 16:9 crop of the 2.39 (which is already vertically cropped).
Once you notice it you can’t unsee it, characters are constantly getting cut off by the frame and it’s wack.Translated from by

No Country for Old Men 2007
Still love this movie.
I decided to rewatch this after reading the book so be warned I am going to be annoying and compare the two.
First off, the make of this movie is still perfection. Sound design, set pieces, the cinematography, the costuming, all perfection.
