I can't. I can't with these modern horror movies having the same goddamn ending every single time. Hero fights the monster, their trauma, everyone who doesn't help them. They "defeat" the monster, everything is fine and then, oops! The monster is not dead and the protagonist dies. There are no more heros defeating the monster or ambiguities so all viewers wins. It just feels like every writer needs to have that edgy ending that has become as predictable as it is lazy.
