    took me a while to get around to seeing it but the set/acting/score/shots were all stunning.

    daylight horror was ambitious and could have gone further.

    liked the flower flay if only because it made me think of annihilation.

    plot was so so but lifted high by the questions about grief and what we need from each other. “i am not a cultural anthropologist and i have no idea what the fuck is going on”

    Peculiarly fascinating because it's such a normal film without flamboyance about a man isolated to the extremities of brokenness. It could have easily exaggerated or grandstanded, but instead it just showed. I appreciate that, and the lack of bows tied on anything. Life is messy, incomplete, and the movie pays great homage to that.

We see 3 total days throughout the movie, and with that, comes an impressive amount of world building.
