This was awesome.  Great storytelling and phenomenal performances by Austin Butler and Tom Hardy.  I’m not sure if I should be flattered or insulted by Comer’s Midwest accent though.  She did an amazing job as well.  As a big fan of SOA, it was fun to jump back into this world and I was fully engrossed in these characters.

I’m genuinely surprised the overall rating on Letterboxd isn’t higher and that people found it boring.

Overall I found it a bit disappointing, probably because the first film is one of my favorite Disney movies.  I just had a harder time emotionally attaching to the story and the characters.  It felt like there were a lot of “extra” characters that spent a significant time on screen but didn’t contribute much and we didn’t learn enough about to care.  I know it’s just a Disney movie but after how great the first one was, anything less was…

Overall a good watch with some great acting and excellent set.  I have no background knowledge about Nosferatu so the story was all new to me and I found it intriguing.  My gripe is that I felt no emotional connection to any of the characters, they seemed a bit hollow and I didn’t care what happened to them, I had no stake in the game.  It also felt like Nosferatu’s background and lore could have been explored more.  It was an entertaining watch though.

One of the better psychological/horror movies I’ve seen in a while.  I was fascinated by the conversations about religion and it was fun trying to figure out the game that Grant’s character was playing.  The acting in general was also fantastic.  I was hoping for more of a sci-fi ending involving a real spiritual event or revelation but it was still a fun game of cat and mouse mixed with a little gore.
