Holy shit was the acting insane in this one!  Every actor knocked their part out of the park.  To have that level of acting and shoot everything in one shot is remarkable.  The boy who played Jamie was especially noteworthy, he showed a lot of range.  Overall the story was really compelling and interesting.  As someone that works in a school with teenagers I get to see the daily toll that social media takes on our youth but there’s so…

Phenomenal cast and story.  I didn’t know anything about the story going into the movie and found it super compelling and heartbreaking.  It was an amazing story about family, resilience, and perseverance.  I can’t imagine the feeling of not knowing what happened to a loved one and feeling that helpless.  This is also a cautionary tale that history repeats itself and to never think, “that won’t happen here”.

One of the better psychological/horror movies I’ve seen in a while.  I was fascinated by the conversations about religion and it was fun trying to figure out the game that Grant’s character was playing.  The acting in general was also fantastic.  I was hoping for more of a sci-fi ending involving a real spiritual event or revelation but it was still a fun game of cat and mouse mixed with a little gore.

Overall a good watch with some great acting and excellent set.  I have no background knowledge about Nosferatu so the story was all new to me and I found it intriguing.  My gripe is that I felt no emotional connection to any of the characters, they seemed a bit hollow and I didn’t care what happened to them, I had no stake in the game.  It also felt like Nosferatu’s background and lore could have been explored more.  It was an entertaining watch though.
