  My favorite moment of this is when a character depressingly muttered “gobble, gobble” and it emotionally wrecked me. Amazing imagery. Performers that are giving it their all. And of course that seemingly unquantifiable Lynch magic.

  Straight forward, nothing flashy, and so timely. This is exactly the kind of movie I love. People thrust into a high stakes situation were they have to improvise and make tough decisions.

  Joker always had a lot working against it. The hype of an adaptation of comic books most popular villain, the fanboys who adopt the character’s veneer of humor to mask their own prejudices, and of course, the memes. B O T T OM T E X T
