Christopher Nolan is one of those directors who is always someone to watch. Some of his films resonate for me more than others, but there is always a high level of quality and craftsmanship on display that is worth checking out, and Oppenheimer is no exception. "Come on, Mario! Our big adventure begins now!"

    -Toad

As someone who still has vivid memories of watching the 1993 live-action Super Mario Bros. movie as a kid, I definitely had higher expectations for this animated second outing. The trailers had presented a bright vivid art style with good humour and some fun references, so a great cinematic experience seemed all but inevitable. However, even though I did enjoy this film more than the first one, I still ended up…
