Hell's Paradise 2023
Annihilation set in the Edo period with pseudo-Nen users. Beautiful animation with a lot of interesting characters. Although I’ve seen some of these tropes before, I enjoyed myself way too much to care. I loved the original, fictional interpretation of Japanese/Chinese history and religion. Don’t let the first episode dissuade you, this series is great!
