Engrossing, uncomfortable mystery found footage film about a jealous boyfriend's attempt to film their girlfriend cheating on them. From the start to the haunting finish, something always feels... off... about each scene. It's an effective tribute to unease, where you're never sure what's going to happen but you know it won't be good. Very good!

Wolves in the Woods 2024
Meandering and ultimately pointless excursion into the woods. Didn't end where I thought it would, but it just didn't work. One good scene at the end is incredibly tense, but fizzles. Points for the Joe Besser discussion that comes out of nowhere, though.

Terrific late-coming sequel that is both very funny and very exciting with impressive action sequences. Though Axel's friends are looking a bit long in the tooth for their roles, Eddie Murphy is just as wiry and quick-witted as ever. Loved it!
