a masterpiece and surely one of the most urgent, important and viscerally upsetting modern films.
this film is not just about those suffering at the border between poland and belarus, but about the inherent violence and inhumanity of all borders, among our most evil creations. they must all be destroyed.
i've seen a few people, on here and elsewhere, criticise this film by calling it some variation of "manipulative": those people are gutless cowards and racists. many negative comments are certainly from fascists, and some likely come directly from the polish government.
