Wicked 2024
i liked wicked a lot and i thought the film did a great job with little details, high drama scenes, and costuming. that said, i thought jeff goldblum (the wizard) played the character too shallow. i think there needs to be a certain aura of evil, of malicious intent that’s below the surface and he instead came across as a very surface level man instead of the complex, intelligent, power hungry man he is. i think the same of michelle…

beautiful movie. watched in the middle of the night alone and the end had me in tears. the final moments had gorgeous cinematography. great characters and plot although some elements were a little cliche. i love john green’s and this was a great adaptation of a great book.
