  Yeah yeah yeah the music is wonderful and the footage is absolutely mesmerising, but mainly my take away is where i can possibly find Paul McCartney vests and flares, Ringo Starr flamboyant shirts and George Harrison furry boots.  I won't even mention Harrison's spectacular pink suit because it's indescribable in its magnificence.

  This film could have been salvaged in so many ways and yet... The sexualisation of the relationship and Mathilda was so unbelievably unnecessary and repulsive to watch that I'm baffled as to why it was included... until I found out it was heavily based on a relationship that Besson (who is apparently also probably a r*pist) had with his second wife (while he married and impregnated when she was 15 and he was fucking 31).
