Although Woody Allen's only acting in this movie, I consider it one of my favorites of his career. It's funny, romantic, and heavily coated with good old nostalgia for a time when guys called girls "dames" and wore trenchcoats even though it's 100 degrees out.

Blade Runner 1982
A movie that pushed the boundaries of the science fiction genre, Blade Runner has everything that makes a movie enjoyable: gripping story, charming actors, great atmosphere, a little action and romance. The essential 80s movie.

The 400 Blows 1959
A movie that perfectly captures the what childhood is like in a turbulent home and a society hostile to innocence.

Stolen Kisses 1968
Less coherent than The 400 Blows, but still a engaging, lighthearted film that fully showcases Truffaut the childish romantic. The opening scene with sceneries of Paris might just the "Frenchiest" movie scene I've ever seen.
