  Tim’s portrayal of Dylan is respectable. You can tell he poured his everything into the character. Same goes for many of the major characters in this. Pete Seeger, Joan Baez. All fantastic displays of acting. I genuinely am shocked no one was awarded for their role in this movie.

  A Separation 2011

  I remember watching this for a world cinema class, and not being completely moved until it was pointed out that everything in this move is just that; separated. 

  Their entire worlds are separate and created through windows and door frames that keep them from sharing the same space and it’s a very different movie once that is realized .
