Best adaptation of a Shakespeare (followed NARROWLY by The Lion King), this movie is too good to be true, and is also the reason I was so bitter after I moved from Los Angeles to Seattle in the early oughts - it's not sunny like that at all (at least not during the school year)!

Death Becomes Her 1992
My Southern Baptist, conservative grandparents had this movie basically playing on an infinite loop on TNT in 2001, and even with all the censors' work, I simply cannot fucking believe how much they liked this film.
Also, *I* quite like this film. I think it's a great example of how we need to get back to taking big, weird, insane, sexual swings at scripts and just put incredible actors, action stars, and starlets in shit and just add rocket fuel, a rad soundtrack, and Isabella Rossellini to everything.
...Do you think Lynch had mixed feelings about this movie?
