  Brothers & Sisters. Rebuild your lives. We’re all drug takers. Give us somethin’ tonight. 

  The blocking felt off in the early scenes and I found myself wondering if this was just a town full of people flipping through their monologue books, practicing for some audition that I wasn’t privy to. All of ‘em just dying to look straight at the camera.

  But, there is somethin special to this film. I guess it’s just a little too early for me to articulate it yet.

  GTA fans will feel right at home in cool L.A. Willem Dafoe is fab and the car chase setting off an intriguing second half is a highlight. 

  Weird character transformation in the last scene though and lots of insufferable masculinity on display. Some of which is thankfully, and deservedly, put to bed. 

  All in all, a good film.
