As someone who grew up with the extremes of religion, coming from a mom who had an orthodox way of observing the sabbath, to an appa who was a Union church Korean christian goer, this just felt too real. I don’t think I can really ever forgive religion for bringing in a lot of sorrow to my life, but wow this paints a clear picture of grief and pain.
So much betrayal when you believe in something that doesn’t even exist. I find this incredibly moving. And just so strong. A haunting experience. So ice cold…. Wow…
