  Solid, solid movie. Too solid actually. It fits every criteria all good movies have, and it really checks every box - nice cinematography, necessary conflicts, clear character profile, no unnecessary shots. 

  But as much I liked it, it almost felt inflexible in the way the movie was filmed. It’s an interesting look into Sadiq’s organized mind but I can’t help but wish there were any more character, or quirks, in this movie. 

  Perhaps I’m desensitized to queer themes at this…

  What’s a life that amounts to nothing?
  Why do mothers, if given the chance to be anywhere in the world, choose to spend it with their child?
  What’s a life that you built from ground up but secretly hate? What do we do with our lives then?

  The Bagel / Googly eyes yin-yang dichotomy is genius. Bawled my eyes out. Stephanie Hsu better win that Oscars. Stunning performance. 

  Could be also viewed a little gimmicky. Who is Jobu Tupaki? What happens to her? 

  Love, loved the sausage fingers but c’mon. Is Jamie Lee Curtis even that significant enough to be nominated?? Be serious
