All We Imagine as Light 2024
When it comes to films that converse with my culture, even if it is just to an innocuous fragment, I find myself searching for something honest. For the film to showcase the layers of complexity that contradict but ultimately defines us. No values of ours, regardless of how they're outwardly perceived, is black and white, and a great film not only offers the truth that there is no truth, but allows you to look past it – to dream. I felt that when the credits rolled.
