  nothing shows the plight of humanity quite like this film.
  nothing ever changes, we go through the same trials, tribulations and prejudices again and again while questioning why must it be this way? I will always question why must it be this way? and hope that little by little some day we will learn from history and it will finally change.

  best christmas movie no one has seen.
  it's my dad's favorite so we have to watch it every year, it's very cute and silly but very fun and full of christmas spirit.
  and you have to love a story where the greedy land lord gets what's coming to him thanks to a squirrel who just wants a clean home.

  The message of letting go of prejudice probably would have been more effective if an actual Japanese man and Jewish woman were cast in the lead roles but you know old Hollywood, had to have a name and didn't think anyone would watch a movie without white actors in the lead.
  Could have been a good movie if not for that and fact it was far too long.

  That feeling when you watch a movie knowing nothing other than the title and that Joan Crawford is in it and it ends up being a dull political American history drama.
  Kind of sad a movie with this many great actors could feel like such a chore to watch. Joan was lovely in her period costumes though.
