Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh
I mean, it was fun. Laugh out loud enjoyable. A dose of home for this former New Yorker. And shot unbelievably well. Colored and edited to perfection.
But… I just don’t get it? I think I see what it’s saying, but it only spends a few minutes at the end trying to get there? And Mikey Madison, I’m really sorry, but I’m not sure that’s an Oscar there.
I’m glad I watched it though. I had a fun time.

Work drama meets the papal selection process. A little bit of a heavy mic drop at the end, but sticks the landing quite well. Despite some dragging, this is a good watch.
The cinematography deserved an award, as did Sergio Castellitto and his insane vaping habit.
