Enjoyable, deeply twisted romp into Italian familial and societal claustrophobia and muscly make domination coming from fragile and perverted egos.

Michel Piccoli is astounding as a highly depraved, manipulative, conflicted and simultaneously empowered and disempowered brother and magistrate.

Need another watch to fully observe the layers of brother-sister dynamics going on here.

    Unpredictable and highly recommended!

Emmanuel Béart is so beautiful and mysterious in this movie.  She captures the desperation of survival in Paris as a prostitute with many layers of complexity and an icy exterior that masks that.

Sex as power over men.  Friendship and trust as the basis for lasting partner relationship.

I do believe that this wildly creative, intellectual and consciousness-expanding film will be seen to be a classic in the years to come.

Classy, complex, fun to watch Vincent Cassel and Eva Green and the messiness of their lives.  The pacing is great, encouraging binge watching, and aside from the thriller plot, the existential theme of crime and forgiveness vs. punishment runs throughout, punctuating the soul connection between Eva and Vincent in a lack of permission to be free to love each other.  This is a sordid, yet still vital love story at its base.  Don’t believe the negative reviews.  I throughly enjoyed the show.
