  watched for the first time since college, been wanting to revisit and watch with Kellie for a long time now.  I had remembered how much I originally liked it and really built up this rewatch in my mind, was worried it wouldn’t live up to the internal hype.  For as much as I remembered, I forgot twice as much, and it blew me away.  Great everything, solidified as one of my best of all time.  Do not recommend this film enough

  Seeing a lot of Lynch comparisons so maybe if I didn’t just finish Twin Peaks and Fire Walk With Me I’d be more open to liking this right now, but it’s just fine.  I didn’t truly dislike it, but movie is as deep as a puddle and I don’t see myself watching this again anytime soon.  I don’t feel like “they put a lot of thought into this” should be the best compliment for what makes a great film for…
