    WE HAVE SUCH SIGHTS TO SHOW YOU

    A little rough around the edges, but an incredibly gross and horny time at the movies. It’s impressive that this was Barker’s first time in the director’s chair.

    People don’t realize that most of Hellraiser revolves around a man sucking the life out of other men so he can cuckold his brother. The cenobites are barely in it!

    As I entered the loneliest Christmas season of my life, this movie was like a warm blanket around me.

    Definitely something I will revisit on future Christmases. The mise en scène is so cozy and the characters are well developed. I loved spending time in this chilly Massachusetts boarding school.
    All three leads are great; you get to know them like family. I love Paul Giamatti.

    The Holdovers is a salve for melancholy people who hurt at Christmas. The only other film I can compare it to is It's a Wonderful Life. There's no way this doesn't become a classic.

    This came out at an unfortunate time. This is not a story about the Arab-Israeli conflict. It is not Israeli propaganda. This is a story about the chaos of a newsroom and how the people in charge are forced to improvise and work on limited and unreliable information.
