The Beekeeper 2024
It’s the beekeeper.
Closest we’re likely to get to a movie based on the Hitman games.
Seeing a senior citizen get scammed is genuinely the most terrifying thing I’ve seen in a movie lately!!

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
It’s really too bad that they don’t let the second Mrs. De Winter go totally sicko mode at the end of the movie like she does in the book. Without that things just peter out a bit. Mrs. Danvers is very scary and weird though, an iconic performance for an iconic villain. Hitchcock mostly restrains his desire to do bits, which is for the best, gives you time to really sink into the gauzy, spiderwebby gothic of it all.
