  Not sure why I never picked up on how brilliant the screenplay was for this. I think this is a feminist film. I never felt like the film was punishing these women for the ways they pushed back at misogynistic morals of the time. These girls drink and swear and fuck and they have agency, or at least try to, and they have sisterhood with each other and try to advocate for one another in a world that dismisses them.…
