The Bad Batch 2016
Shame, the starting concept could be a good starting pount (along the lines of Escape from New York) but it’s not well developed (or certainly not fast enough). It’s also executed badly, in a lame and lazy fashion with all the usual ridiculous mad max-like gimmicks.
Lost patience 30seconds in and started watching through jumps.

I am a sucker for revenge movies and this one is a damn good one if that was the only dimension it had. However, that would not be doing it justice and I would like to think that it has many more worthy features.
In keeping with his other work, Dennis Villeneuve & team again demonstrate excellence in creating a very peculiarly oppressive, heavy atmosphere that is both terrifying yet compelling, inviting even, despite the underlying bleakness it portrays.
