  In the Name of the Father 1993

  If I was a child in Belfast when this came out in 1993 I'd be living quite the radicalized life.

  The scene of solidarity amongst the prisoners dropping flaming papers from their cell windows was a an extremely compelling memorial for Giuseppe, a man whose only crime was being Irish and fathering an Irish man falsely convicted of a crime.

  The movie would be structured and paced very differently today, I'd imagine there would be a lot more emphasis on…
