This movie is so well done. Getting to know the family in the beginning and becoming attached makes the events that unfold that much more excruciating. We are feeling Eunice’s anguish as she holds her family together while facing the unthinkable reality of her husband’s forced disappearance. The end was incredibly moving, and deeply felt. Really great.

Favorite rom-com.

A really entertaining spy whodunit that kept me intrigued and never became too serious. I love that this movie released in theaters instead of straight-to-streaming.

I’m still processing this one. These characters meet by sheer chance, and are drawn to each other beyond their savior/disciple dynamic. The scoundrel pulled into the world of this cult, put to work appropriately. Did Dodd believe Freddie could be saved or is that beside the point? One thing’s for sure, Philip Seymour Hoffman is mesmerizing.
