Linking all the crimes to a single originating incident was the best part. Some hype scenes for the hero felt out of place, unusual for a Malayalam film which are usually more grounded.
Having watched Breakdown, was eager to see how Magizh has handled it. Quite disappointed that most of the first half was a scene by scene remake except for the love track. The few twists also wasn’t that shocking. But credit to MT for staying true to the genre with very minimal distractions.
Ajith was splendid, reminded me of his Mugavari days, giving a subdued performance and kudos for choosing to do this film which has close to nothing for AK the star.
Making was brilliant, fight inside the Hummer especially. Regina stood out among the supporting characters.
In films like this it’s really difficult to enjoy unless we find a point/way to connect with its world.
Like the first part, I felt totally dissociated with the story here as well. Apart from a handful of scenes and a terrific Allu Arjun it was
lacklustre .
