  Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio 2022

  Such a beautiful and thought provoking film about a classic story. I still remember when this won best animated feature, and I was happy for it. Del Toro managed to make a story with tragic undertones and make it even more sad and beautiful.

  Stop animation is such a beautiful art to film. Those final moments really shined on life and the visuals are beautiful.

  Funny and surprisingly charming. Made me laugh more than I thought I would. And the cast has amazing chemistry with each other, which made the film feel more enjoyable. That tank scene tops anything current “Fast and Furious” has with its action sequences.

  Murdock was by far my favorite character.

  A bit of a mixed bag. I know I can’t really compare it to “Parasite”, that would just be unfair. But this is probably my least favorite Bong Joon Ho film.

  It has a lot going for it, especially Robert Pattinson’s great performance as two clones of his character of Mickey. And the love story felt genuine with some charm to it. The whole question of morals with the cloning aspect was interesting, same with the alien species plot line…
