  this was kind of like the barbie movie but about climate change. hits you over the head with the messaging yet still kind of manages to miss the point. i’m not the first person to point this out but a comet is a really poor comparison for climate change. 

  highlights:
  - while i did feel the 2.5 hour runtime, it maintained a pretty high energy the whole time 
  - so serious that Mark Rylance as Peter Isherwell should have gotten an oscar nomination 
  - didn’t realize that was Cate Blanchett until about an hour in
  - MELANIE LYNSKEY
  - Leo’s michigan accent
