The film can be a bit dull at times, the main character can be a little problematic, the story is told in a confusing way going back and forth in time - hair color and length being the only indication of time - and yet this movie keeps coming back to me. The birds, the seals, the wind, all characters in their own right; they are haunting me. Highly recommend.
