This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
This was my third time seeing this movie and I was surprised by how much I had forgotten. It all hits especially hard after recently watching The Substance, which borrows liberally from this movie (the ear, the tooth, the fingernail, Monstro Elisasue, the FLY lol) and isn’t even half as good. And this was made 39 years ago!!!!
Everyone in this movie is so talented and at their peak level of hotness, and the descent into full on body horror…
