…money to burn.Incredibly tragic and captivating genre blend that I was just straight soaking in, I can’t believe I don’t hear this movie talked about more! There’s some great gore in here that really caught me off guard, especially Michael Imperioli’s scene! I haven’t seen Menace II Society yet, but it’s shot all the way to the top of my watchlist after seeing this.

They say seeing is believing, but I’d never swear to it.
Anton Furst designed the fuck out of that production for real… woww…. so far this is honestly the closest thing to Dark Souls I’ve seen in a film. The dark forest that seems so isolated, the earthly village, the “amorous boy” that terrifies me to my core…
I really, really love the structure of this film. It’s almost anthological but both the main story and the tales the characters tell play into each other in ways that normal anthologies don’t. It feels unique and fitting for the fairytale vibe.
