    Wow...I'm at a loss for words...deeply emotional.
The cinematography was so cleaver and unique. Beautifully shot with an artistic approach that left me wanting more.
I was captivated by Elwood's story presented in a first person point of view. We see how he sees the world. It was painful to watch at times as you know from history what happened behind so called reform schools that left human beings broken or missing.
    Injustice.

Watched Buster Keaton's Sherlock Jr silent synched with R.E.M. as the soundtrack. Such a treat. I had so much fun. Enjoyed the slapstick humour and the crazy stunts done by Keaton. Had a smile on my face the whole time. I even sang to Stand when it came on even though it was an odd choice for that part of the film but I didn't care....

Stand in the place where you live
    Now face north
Think about direction, wonder why you haven't before

Right from the start, I got hooked into Anora's story.
That home invasion scene was pure entertainment. It was intense, funny, batshit crazy and well executed. I was routing for all of them until the end. Anora was a badass bitch. Loved her.

I came into this movie blind in only thinking it was a zombie movie but it was much more. I loved the way the director chose to tell the story about family and the choices we would make when if one should get infected. Do you let them die or help them live in case there is a cure.
Had the privilege to stay for a Q&A after the film. Interesting choice of lens and color palette which he explained in making this his own. Great job.
