Caught by the Tides 2024
I am really impressed by this movie. Jia Zhang-ke effortlessly experiments and blends various cinematographic elements. My Sunshine 2024
A beautifully shot movie where each scene could stand as a picture on its own. The ice skaters appear to escape into their own world while skating, with the lighting enhancing this dreamy atmosphere. Although most of the story is set during winter, the relationship between the three characters brings a sense of warmth. It’s a cute film that encourages you to keep believing, experimenting and hoping for the best.
