This insanely ridiculous movie had one legit comedic character. Who curved a bullet.
I really would like to see a prequel of Tony's hoe adventures. That should have been more than a minor plot point.

The Blackening 2022
I. WAS. NOT. READY.
Wow, this was the horror comedy I didn't know I needed. When turning on the news is a sh*tshow in itself, we need some good old fashioned horror tropes to make us laugh. The jokes were nonstop, and I feel like I need to see this at least 10 more times to catch it all.
The middle third dragged a bit when the plot leaned to straightforward horror, but ultimately they brought it home. The villain's motivation....WOW. Definitely one to see this summer.

Was this film all over the place? Yes. Did it try to tackle too many themes? Probably. But damn if I didn't savor all of it. The messiness was the sauce that I wanted all of and more.
Random Thoughts:
1. Mickey 18 didn't work for me, but I understand why Nasha was entranced by him. He did redeem himself in the end.
2. Mark Ruffalo ATE. Left no crumbs. Licked the plate. Buffed it dry. Came back for seconds.…
