Forced my parents and Uncle to watch it. Still hits. The animation is particularly smooth!

Not enough Feathers McGraw. Every moment he graces the screen I swoon for the sexiest criminal mastermind to ever do it. Yet much of the screen time is hogged by the robo gnomes. Couldn’t care about em. They didn’t even give Feathers a gun this time around. 
Beautifully crafted and animated as to be expected from Aardman, but wheres the edge? Am I really just that jaded now?

Even the 360p rip on YouTube is well worth your time. Excellent dance sequence in a precarious environment. 
I think the reason there are so many stop motion films about killing god is because every stop-mo person has a god complex themselves.

This film was the most effective treatment for a months long depressive episode. Stop-motion sequences, Dan Deacon original score, a turtle named sugar baby, and locations in Baltimore I’ve personally visited are given new context. Such is the power of dreaming.
