  Not until FWWM did I finally get to know Laura. She was a distant stranger to me in the original series, depicted as the pristine homecoming queen, with glimpses into her wild side. In FWWM, I finally was given an invitation into her tragic and twisted lifestyle, headspace, and experiences, leading into her death. I feel so deep for her. It was difficult seeing past Donna’s actress replacement, but it doesn’t touch my 5 star score. Laura Palmer deserved so much better.
