  Kinda makes Boiling Point feel like Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares by comparison. So bleak but true to what surving an ordeal feels like for both the victim, perpetrator and the family left behind. Guess the only downfall is not spending more time with the actual victim and the fallout there. Technically this is masterful stuff. Can't knock the acting either. However hard this is to watch, it's finally a win for Netflix compared to half the dross they put out to the world.

  Beverly Hills Cop 1984

  Thought I'd seen this before but o definitely hadn't. 40th anniversary screening at Vue. Definitely feels like the blueprint of the buddy cop genre, despite Foley doing most of the cop work on his own until the final third. Funny in it's elusive nature, plus seeing Mike from Breaking Bad as a hit man was pretty cool.

  Probably the most under the radar gem on Netflix right now. This is a quality bloody survival movie all wrapped up in under 90 minutes.
