incredible piece of filmmaking. the paranoia and deadpan/serious nature of the character is really reflected in the blend of close camerawork and still or slow moving shots that are framed like still life paintings. it’s definitely aided by the nature and narrative of the film, but the sound editing is some of the best ive seen in any film.
the plot is a little loose and resembles the nature of a lot of 70s thrillers, but the feeling Coppola elicits is so unique.
