Rebuilding 2025
Now this is a Sundance movie! Americana, trauma, and sunsets. Such a perfect film for my students to get to go see.
Rebuilding is a real handsome film with some magnificent performances from it's entire cast. I'll say that I didn't connect with this one near as well as my students did, judging by the quiet sniffling and sobs throughout the film, but that's the beauty of art and subjectivity and all that. Their enjoyment brought me true joy.
So grateful to the Sundance Institute and the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation Student Screening Program. Please don't leave Utah!

Got to see this with my students at a Sundance screening and they had a blast. I'll be honest, I was a little bummed to see the film was produced by Disney. Isn't Sundance for Indies?
