Tenet 2020
the film was weirdly paced. it felt like they were excessively cramming information into a 150 minute run time. although visually spectacular in certain scenes, tenet does not see nolan return to form as seen in inception. also i need english subtitles because the soundtrack was loud, they were wearing masks and there were several accents. the film somehow manages to seem overexplained and incomplete at the same time.

Money No Enough 1998
although the humour of money no enough doesn't hold up till today, at its core, the film is a simple comedy that addresses the financial struggles of the average singaporean. however, the poor direction of the film seems to critically affect the flow of the narrative, at times seeming contrived, with a lack of purpose and meaning.
