Someone needs to tell actors that the transatlantic accent was something that was affected when doing anything with a microphone. I don’t think many people talked like that in their private lives. It’s like the actors try and listen to all the audio recordings of the person they are portraying and forget that the microphone quality and transatlantic affectation means they didn’t really sound that way.
